Edward Vasquez was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. Growing up, he was always fascinated by the flavors and aromas of the traditional Latin cuisine that his mother and grandmother would prepare. Edward and his family decided to move to the United States to pursue his dream of becoming a chef. He settled in New York City a State with a large Latin community, and started working in various restaurants to gain experience and learn more about the culinary industry. Over time, Edward developed a passion for cooking and decided to open his own restaurant.
